Terms of Use

Last updated · August 3, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to the ARIHA website at ariha.life and the ARIHA web application at app.ariha.life (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Important notice

ARIHA is self-reflection software. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, does not predict the future, and is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately.

1. What ARIHA is

ARIHA is automated software for personal self-reflection. It offers prompts, questions, and written or spoken reflections generated by artificial intelligence. There is no human counsellor, coach, clinician, or advisor reviewing or responding to your input.

The Service is provided for general personal, informational, and reflective purposes only. Any decision you make after using ARIHA is your own.

2. AI-generated content disclaimer

  • ·Content in the Service is generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your situation. It is not verified by a professional.
  • ·AI output is probabilistic. The same input can produce different results, and nothing generated should be treated as a fact, a prediction, a diagnosis, or professional guidance.
  • ·ARIHA does not make claims about future events, outcomes, or supernatural insight. Its reflections are prompts for your own thinking — not statements about what will happen.
  • ·You are responsible for evaluating AI output before relying on it, and for verifying anything important with a qualified source.
  • ·Do not enter sensitive personal information — such as medical records, government identifiers, or financial account details — into the Service.

3. Medical and mental-health safety

ARIHA is not a healthcare service and does not create a therapist-client, physician-patient, or any other professional relationship.

  • ·Never disregard, avoid, or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or heard in the Service.
  • ·Do not use the Service to diagnose or treat any physical or mental health condition, or to make decisions about medication or treatment.
  • ·The Service is not intended for emergencies and does not monitor your input for signs of risk. It cannot summon help.
  • ·If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or a mental-health or medical emergency, stop using the Service and contact emergency services or a crisis line right away. In the United States, call or text 988. In the EU and many other countries, call 112.
  • ·Reflection can surface difficult feelings. If that happens, pause and reach out to a licensed professional or someone you trust.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher) to use the Service. By using ARIHA you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms.

5. Your account and responsibilities

Some features require an account in the ARIHA app. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • ·Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purpose.
  • ·Present ARIHA output as professional advice, a diagnosis, or a prediction to anyone else.
  • ·Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security.
  • ·Upload content that infringes the rights of others or that is unlawful, hateful, or harassing.
  • ·Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its output.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write in the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or suitable for you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARIHA and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, wellbeing, or opportunity, arising from your use of or reliance on the Service or any AI-generated content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use puts the Service or others at risk.
